Gabriel Goidel
I sat these interviews myself, got into Harvard, Kellogg and Chicago, and have spent the years since running them for other people. dean is the interview I give.

Where to find me
My professional history is on LinkedIn. Harvard published a profile of me as well, though that one is part of a personal series about students rather than anything about my work.
What I do now
I have given hundreds of mock interviews to MBA applicants, an hour at a time, ending with spoken feedback. Most of what I am listening for comes down to a few things: whether you put me in the room or describe yourself in adjectives, whether a story reaches a decision or stops one sentence early, and whether you can say why an MBA and why now without reaching for it. dean asks what I ask and listens for the same things.
How I got there
I grew up in a strictly religious town in Israel, the son of parents who taught me to play it safe. Harvard was another world. I studied for the GMAT on the train to work and back, and the score was embarrassing. I took it again a month later: 740.
I flew to Paris for twenty-four hours, for a half-hour interview. I got in, and not only there: Harvard, Kellogg and Chicago, all with full scholarships.
Then I moved to the other side of the table. I know exactly what that half hour feels like, and I am not willing to watch anyone walk into it unprepared. dean is that interview, without waiting for my calendar.

What that has to do with dean
The hard part is not the questions. It is knowing which answer is too vague to leave alone, and what to say about it afterwards. That came out of my own sessions rather than out of interview guides, and it is the whole difference.
You do not have to take that on trust either. How the scoring works is written up in full, and there is a complete sample report to read before you spend anything.
How the scoring works, and a full sample report. What my own clients said is in their words.
If you would rather have me
Most people will not need it. dean asks the same questions and pushes in the same places. But my calendar is real, and some people would rather have the person.
An hour with me is $500, booked by email rather than through this site. Ask about it.
